Comments from the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: The Dragon Who Gets Lonely Team

Director: Tatsuya Ishihara
This is Tatsuya Ishihara from Kyoto Animation! I was the director for the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S TV anime. This time, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is—believe it or not—becoming a feature-length film! Some of you may have already guessed, but this story is all about Kanna, and it's one you've been wanting to see on the big screen! With action, emotions, and a long, dramatic tale, Dragon Maid is coming to theaters. Kanna, Kobayashi, and Tohru will be leaping off the TV and tearing up the big screen! We're working hard to bring you something amazing, so stay tuned!

Mutsumi Tamura (Voice of Miss Kobayashi)
Making anime is tough, and a third season? I thought it might be difficult... I was thinking, "Maybe the fans will just keep waiting forever," and then, out of nowhere, it’s a Dragon Maid movie! I was completely shocked! (laughs) The teaser visual looks really serious...! Is this not going to be the usual heartwarming slice of life? Why is Kanna saying goodbye to Kobayashi!? What does it mean!!? My head was spinning, but for those of you with sharp intuition... well, you probably already know what’s up, right? I can’t wait to read the script, and I’m sure you’re all excited for the release too!

Yuki Kuwahara (Voice of Tohru)
“Humans! I’ve come to see you again!!” I could immediately picture Tohru's face when I thought of that line. From intense battle scenes to the delicate facial expressions of the characters, Dragon Maid always reveals something new with every viewing, as it's crafted with such meticulous detail. I’ve always wanted to see it on the big screen, and now that dream is coming true. I’m so happy to get to meet everyone again! I’ll turn this joy into power and give it my all as Tohru. Please look forward to it!

Maria Naganawa (Voice of Kanna)
I’m thrilled to meet the characters in action again, see the production staff, and reunite with the cast! I'm also excited to be given the opportunity to express even more of Kanna's charm. I’ll work hard to show even more of Kanna’s depth, and I hope you'll look forward to it!
