On the 12th, Kisara and Lunlun, members of the Nijisanji VTuber unit Ayakaki no Izure Ayameka Kakitsubata, appeared at the pre-opening event for TOKYO LIGHTS held at the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery in Tokyo’s Meiji Jingu Gaien, where they serve as ambassadors.

Kisara greeted the audience with, “I’m Kisara, the sexy member of Ayakaki and a lucky feng shui master,” while Lunlun gave a shorter-than-usual introduction, saying, “I’m Lunlun, the beast of Ayakaki. Nice to meet you.”

TOKYO LIGHTS is a creative "festival of light" that illuminates Tokyo nights while delivering a message to the world. The event also includes a world projection mapping competition. This year's theme is "Mirror." Kisara shared, "This theme really resonated with me since mirrors are also my fan mark." She added, "While waiting backstage, Lunlun and I kept saying, ‘This is amazing!’ We had such a great time."

Each event will open with a special show featuring the music of Nijisanji units Ayakaki no Izure Ayameka Kakitsubata, ChroNoiR, and ROF-MAO. The opening show will combine cutting-edge culture and tradition in a spectacular projection mapping display at the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, a designated National Important Cultural Property, with songs from Nijisanji providing the soundtrack.

Lunlun, who got an early glimpse of the show, shared her excitement: “Seeing Ayakaki’s imagery projected on such a grand painting gallery was so moving. The visuals matched the solemn building perfectly, and I think even those already familiar with the music will feel a different kind of emotion this time.”

The event also included a fan Q&A session. When asked what festival activities she’d like to experience, Lunlun responded, “I’d love for everyone to buy the same thing, eat together, and take some pictures.” Kisara agreed, saying, “Let’s make some memories!”

At the end, Kisara expressed her gratitude: “I am so honored to have been appointed as an ambassador and invited here today. Even in this short time, I was deeply moved. The main event starts the day after tomorrow, so if you’re interested, make sure to apply!”

This event will be held from the 14th to the 16th at the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery and the Softball Stadium at Meiji Jingu Gaien.
