From the 31st installment of the series, 'Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary' (premiering on August 9), a special video and scene photos featuring the other main character, the Nohara family's beloved dog Shiro, have been unveiled. The touching scenes show Shiro bravely confronting a gigantic dinosaur to protect a small dinosaur named Nana.

Shiro, who usually takes care of Himawari and even prepares his own food, goes to great lengths in this film to protect the small dinosaur Nana. The story depicts the friendship that transcends species boundaries between Shinnosuke, Shiro, and Nana, as well as the Kasukabe Defense Force.

The special video reveals scenes of Shiro and Nana's first meeting, Shiro's adorable, tearful plea to take Nana home to the Nohara family, and Shiro performing his tricks "cotton candy" and "chin chin kai kai" with Nana. These scenes highlight the bond between Shiro and Nana. The narration by Misae, reminiscing about the early days when Shiro first joined the Nohara family, reflects on how Nana gradually becomes part of the family as they spend summer together.

The video transitions from heartwarming scenes of Shinnosuke, Shiro, and Nana playing in the bath and with a fan to the dramatic escape of dinosaurs from the major theme park "Dino's Island" that resurrected dinosaurs in the present day. The dinosaurs wreak havoc in Kasukabe and central Tokyo. Shiro's daring attempt to rescue Nana from the clutches of a gigantic dinosaur promises an emotional climax.

The scene photos released along with the video capture the affectionate moments between Shinnosuke, Shiro, and Nana, including the day Shinnosuke brought home Shiro, who was abandoned in a cardboard box, and the playful antics of Shinnosuke and Shiro. These images offer a glimpse into the precious time as Shiro became part of the Nohara family.
