"My Hair is Bad" will perform the theme song for the movie "Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary," with the latest trailer released.
The main poster visual and the latest trailer for the anime "Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary" (to be released on August 9) have been revealed, and it has been announced that the theme song will be performed by the three-piece rock band "My Hair is Bad" from Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture.
This is the 31st film in the "Crayon Shin-chan" series, depicting the meeting between Shiro, the Kasukabe Defense Force, and a small dinosaur, and the friendship that transcends the boundaries of life.
A major theme park, Dino's Island, which has resurrected dinosaurs in the modern age, opens in Tokyo, sparking an unprecedented dinosaur boom that captivates both children and adults. Shiro meets a small dinosaur named "Nana" by the river, and Shin-chan and his friends are excited about the special summer ahead. However, a major incident occurs when ferocious dinosaurs escape from Dino's Island! The runaway dinosaurs rampage through Tokyo and Kasukabe, turning what was supposed to be a fun summer vacation into chaos.
Bubble Odoroki, who opened Dino's Island, Anmona Ito (voiced by Shunsuke Ito), the facility's manager and system administrator, and staff member Chuu (voiced by Yu Hatanaka) plot to capture Nana by any means to keep a certain secret hidden. But the Nohara family and the Kasukabe Defense Force team up with Billy (voiced by Takumi Kitamura), a biologist who loves dinosaurs, to protect Nana, leading to a big showdown in Shibuya, Tokyo! A climactic battle filled with laughter and tears awaits as they face off against a giant dinosaur.
The theme song, "Omoide wo Kakenukete," written specifically for this film by My Hair is Bad, gently accompanies the summer moments Shin-chan, Shiro, and the Kasukabe Defense Force share with Nana, adding a touch of laughter and tears to the film.
My Hair is Bad commented, "We are truly honored to be involved in a Crayon Shin-chan project, which we have loved since we were children. In life, there are not only happy and enjoyable memories but also sad and painful ones. We created this song with the hope that even those sad memories can become positive forces that help us move forward, as we reflect on them and say, 'It was sad, but it was thanks to that,' or 'It was tough, but I overcame it.'"
The theme song "Omoide wo Kakenukete" will be digitally released at midnight on June 14. The poster visual impressively depicts Shin-chan and Shiro bravely facing the summer to protect the small dinosaur "Nana," with the rampaging dinosaurs seemingly about to leap out.
