The new series of the anime "Black Butler," titled "Black Butler: The Emerald Witch Arc," is set to air in 2025, with a teaser video also released.

The series is based on the manga that has been serialized since 2006. It follows the story of Ciel Phantomhive, a 12-year-old head of a prestigious noble family, and his perfect super butler, Sebastian. The narrative revolves around the Phantomhive family, who, as noble guardians of the underworld, undertake various missions from the government to maintain order in the British underworld.

With a total of over 35 million copies sold worldwide, "Black Butler" is a popular work that has been adapted into TV anime, animated films, and stage plays. In 2014, it was also made into a live-action film starring Hiro Mizushima and Ayame Gouriki. The sixth anime adaptation, "Black Butler: Public School Arc," aired from April to June 2024.
