Made in Abyss Theatrical Series Part 2 Announced as Awakening Mystery Opens

Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery, the first installment in the anime's new theatrical series, opened in Japan on October 23. To mark its release, a second key visual and five additional cast members were revealed, while production of Part 2 was also officially announced.

New Visual Features Srajo and Hail Hex

The new key visual features Srajo, the Sovereign of Mystery, alongside members of the Hail Hex expedition team.

Nana Mizuki voices Srajo, joined by Akeno Watanabe as Nishagora, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Yataramar, Nao Toyama as Sherumi and Yume Miyamoto as Menae.

Part 2 of the Theatrical Series Confirmed

Alongside the release of Part 1, production of the second installment in the Made in Abyss theatrical series was officially announced.

The franchise is based on Akihito Tsukushi's manga, which has more than 22 million copies in circulation.
