Box office information for the anime film "Look Back," which premiered on June 28, has been released. In its first three days, it attracted 135,000 viewers and surpassed $1.37 million in box office revenue (according to Kogyo Tsushinsha).

"Look Back," created by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of "Chainsaw Man," is a growth story about Fujino, a fourth-grader, and her truant classmate Kyomoto, connected through their manga. One day, an event shatters everything. The youth story begins when their four-panel manga is published in the school newspaper, depicting their lives through middle and high school. When it was published as a 143-page long one-shot in "Shonen Jump+" on July 19, 2021, it garnered significant attention with comments like "a genius" and "too shocking to say anything..." and recorded over 2.5 million views on its first day. It was ranked No. 1 in the "This Manga is Amazing! 2022" male edition and was also nominated for the "Manga Taisho 2022."
