The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 Reveals First Trailer Showing Four Hearts Drifting Apart

The key visual and first trailer for Season 2 of the anime The Ramparts of Ice, which begins airing on October 1, have been released.

The new key visual has a different atmosphere from the previously revealed teaser visual, depicting Koyuki, Miki, Minato, and Yota smiling together in a classroom. In contrast, the first trailer captures the four characters as their feelings gradually drift apart.

Streaming details have also been announced. Season 2 will begin streaming early on Netflix from October 2, with other streaming platforms to follow.

Introduction

Koyuki Hikawa is a high school student who struggles to interact with others and tends to put up walls between herself and the people around her. She spends her days quietly without socializing with anyone except her childhood friend, Miki Azumi. Then Minato Amamiya, a boy who for some reason keeps trying to close the distance between them, suddenly enters her life.

As Koyuki and Minato grow closer, they begin to develop feelings for each other that go beyond friendship. Yota Hino, meanwhile, has finally told Miki about the feelings he has carried for her for years. Some choose to express their feelings, while others keep them hidden, causing their emotions and relationships to become increasingly crossed.

Koyuki is an aloof girl, Miki is a former school idol, Minato is a boy with no sense of personal distance, and Yota is a gentle and easygoing member of the basketball club. They are awkward, frustrating, and yet deeply endearing. The ensemble drama created by their crossed feelings continues.
