From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman II Episode 5 Story & Preview Cuts Released: The Saber Boar Hunt Operation Begins

The story and preview images for Episode 5 of the TV anime From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman (JP: 片田舎のおっさん、剣聖になる, Katainaka no Ossan kensei ni Naru) Season 2 have been revealed. This episode will air on Wednesday, August 5 at 11:45 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms. Along with the episode details, a special action movie produced with the full effort of the production staff has also been released.

Episode 5 Story

The operation to hunt the Saber Boar has begun. On the way, Curuni fulfills her long-cherished dream of defeating a Saber Boar, realizing firsthand how much she has grown. Meanwhile, Landrid fully displays his experience and knowledge as a former adventurer, along with his sharp swordsmanship. Inspired by witnessing this, Henbritz challenges Landrid to a match, and Landrid accepts. Their duel shakes the souls of Beryl and another swordsman.

Introduction

Beryl Gardinant, a humble countryside sword instructor, was finally adapting to daily life in the capital. He now spent his days serving as a special instructor for the chivalric order and acting as a guardian for an orphan.

However, the environment surrounding Beryl refused to let him rest in peace.
