Episode 1 Story

Haruki's complexion looks pale after being asked about romantic rumors by the girls in class. When Hayato quick-wittedly takes Haruki out of the classroom, a relieved Haruki confesses to being bad at love talk. Although Haruki plays the role of a model student in front of classmates, Haruki becomes innocent just like in the old days when alone with Hayato. While they are trading portions of their lunch boxes and eating in the preparation room, they hear people's voices from outside the window. It appears that a female student who called out an upperclassman is confessing her love...

"We'll be best friends forever!"

At the end of a summer long ago, a young boy made a precious promise with his close male friend.

Seven years later, Hayato transfers to a high school in the city, only to reunite with that very same childhood friend—who has transformed into a neat and radiantly beautiful young woman!

Haruki, now widely admired as an unattainable beauty, flashes the exact same smile and playful energy from their childhood days the moment she and Hayato are left completely alone...

The countryside and the city, a boy and a girl, and hearts and bodies that have grown up. While many things have changed during their time apart, their unchanging feelings and promise remain—

The curtain rises on a youthful romantic comedy spun with a childhood friend who used to be a "male friend"!
