Episode 3 Story

Eftal is finally granted his first meeting with his father, Duke Alcott. However, he is ordered to engage in a mock battle with his half-brother, Joachim. It is not a match to test his abilities, but a malicious spectacle designed to look down upon Eftal, a child of a concubine, and his mother Ilia, who lacks aptitude. As Joachim heaps insults upon them and even turns his fangs toward his mother, Ilia, Eftal's anger reaches its limit. The boy, who harbors the memories of the Thunder God Emperor, grips his sword tightly before his despicable "descendant."

The Great Sage Ephtal reincarnated from the modern era and dedicated his entire life to the research of magic. However, hitting the limits of his natural talent, he passed away in utter despair.
