UNIQLO Pokémon UT Collection Launches July 24 with Monochrome Game Dot Designs Inspired by Pokémon Red and Green

UNIQLO’s graphic T shirt brand UT will launch the second installment of Pokémon UT on July 24 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.

The collection features a carefully selected lineup of special Pokémon designs expressed in monochrome game dot artwork, inspired by the original titles that marked the beginning of the Pokémon video game series. It is designed as a UT collection that can be enjoyed by all generations, from adults who played the games as children to children who are enjoying them today.

Designs Inspired by Pokémon Red and Green

From Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, the origin of the series, the designs feature Pokémon including Pikachu, the Legendary Pokémon Mew, and Mewtwo, as well as artwork inspired by the opening screen. The collection also includes designs that recall memories of adventure, such as Pokémon associated with the eight Gym Leaders.

The Pokémon are depicted in game dot style, with four designs each available for men and kids.

Special Pokémon UT Website Opens July 8

Starting today, July 8, a special Pokémon UT page has opened. In addition to T shirt designs using game dot artwork, visitors can also enjoy background music from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green connected to the theme of each design.
