"Wait, THAT Character is in it?!" That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Drops 2nd Cour Trailer—OP by Daoko, ED by Azusa Tadokoro

Following the upcoming broadcast of the second cour of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) Season 4 starting July 3, the series has unveiled its second key visual, second promotional video, and the new artists for the opening and ending theme songs.

The second key visual features Rimuru alongside the Primordial Demons (Testarossa, Ultima, and Carrera) who are finally set to make their full-fledged debut in the anime. In the foreground, Chloe and Granville are depicted, along with a mysterious figure who bears a striking resemblance to Chloe...

The curtain finally rises on the story revolving around the "Hero." With new allies joining Rimuru's side, what kind of enemies will stand in their way? It is a visual that leaves fans filled with high anticipation. Additionally, the new opening theme song has been revealed as "TACTIC" by Daoko, while the new ending theme song will be "Hymnal" by Azusa Tadokoro.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows the story of Satoru Mikami, an ordinary office worker who is stabbed to death by a random attacker, only to wake up reincarnated as a slime in another world. Gaining a new life as the slime Rimuru, he embarks on a journey to create a nation where all races can live together happily. The series depicts him gaining more and more allies through his wisdom, courage, and masterful use of the skills he acquires.

The original story began its serialization on the web novel posting site Shousetsuka ni Narou and has since received a manga adaptation, with the series surpassing a cumulative total of 62 million copies in print. The anime adaptation first aired in October 2018. Season 2 was broadcast in split cours from January to March and July to September 2021, and Season 3 aired from April to September 2024. The franchise also released anime movies in 2022 and 2026. The currently broadcasting Season 4 is slated to run for a total of 5 split cours.
