Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2 Trailer Released: “And Then, the Final Piece Begins” — New Footage Includes School Festival Scenes and Graduation Moments
The main trailer and final key visual for Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2 have been unveiled. The film is set to open in approximately 200 theaters across Japan on September 11.

The newly released trailer focuses on protagonist Kumiko Oumae and her rival, Mayu Kuroe. It portrays the ideals and emotions each of them carries as they prepare for their final performance. The footage highlights their personal struggles, the challenges of creating a unified musical performance, and the determination of the Kitauji High School Concert Band as they strive together for a gold medal at the National Competition.

In addition to emotional scenes featuring a tearful Mayu and powerful performance sequences, the trailer includes numerous new cuts, such as scenes from the school festival and moments showing characters gazing into the sky while holding their graduation certificates. Packed with new footage, the trailer offers plenty for fans to look forward to in the film's concluding chapter.
The final key visual features the tagline, “And Then, the Final Piece Begins—”, alongside the series' main characters walking forward together in the same direction. The visual serves as a fitting culmination of a story that has unfolded over the course of 11 years. Sound! Euphonium is Kyoto Animation's acclaimed concert band anime series, following Kumiko Oumae and the members of the Kitauji High School Concert Band as they pursue their musical ambitions.
Since the first television season premiered in April 2015, the franchise has expanded to three TV anime seasons, along with five theatrical films, special editions, and spin-off movies. The series celebrated its 10th anniversary last year.
Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1 is currently screening in theaters, while Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2 will open on September 11, bringing the story of the Kitauji High School Concert Band to its long-awaited conclusion.
