Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 6 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Julius's Swordsmanship Easily Overwhelmed

The story and preview images for Episode 6 of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (JP: Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) Season 5 (Episode 72 overall) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 PM (JST) in Japan, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 72 Story

Waiting as the examiner of the second floor was a red-clad man who referred to himself as a "stick swinger." As Julius took the lead, the "stick swinger" pulled out a pair of chopsticks that resembled wooden twigs to use as his weapon. Julius's top-tier swordsmanship was easily parried, and the knight was ruthlessly trampled by an overwhelming difference in power. After managing to retreat to the fourth floor, Subaru and the others attempt to deduce the examiner's true identity based on his appearance and information from Shaula. However, during their discussion, Julius suddenly disappears.
