Akiyama and Nao, having discovered a winning strategy for the "Minority Game," gather five women and an elderly man to explain their plan to escape the Liar Game with the prize money. The strategy involves a cooperative effort where the group consistently splits their votes in half during each round, ensuring that the final winner acts as a representative to claim and distribute the winnings.

After securing the consent of all six participants and signing a contract to prevent betrayal, the group is ready. However, the looming threat remains the dangerous individual known as "X." Promising to stay vigilant against "X," the group begins the first round of the Minority Game.

Overwhelmed by anxiety, Nao finds herself unable to take her eyes off Player No. 15, the man suspected of being "X." When the results of the first round are announced, Player No. 15 is among those who advanced. Yet, Akiyama's sense of unease lies elsewhere. He begins to suspect that the game might be unfolding according to a "worst-case scenario."
