Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi! Episode 4 Story & Preview Cuts Released: A Sudden Trip to a Private Villa in Guam

The story and preview images for Episode 4 of the TV anime One Tatami Room Full of Life (JP: 一畳間まんきつ暮らし!, Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi!) have been revealed. This episode will air on Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 4 Story

In the height of summer, Meiko and her friends are in high spirits as business at the manga cafe is booming. However, a sudden air conditioner failure forces them to temporarily close the shop. Kozue encourages Rie, who is disappointed that their steady management was interrupted. When Meiko and the others are at a loss for where to stay until the air conditioning is repaired, Kozue suggests they visit her private villa in Guam. Meiko and the group, bringing Michika along, set off for a sudden tropical resort getaway!

Introduction

Meiko Morita, a high school student living in Akita, is suddenly chosen as a special transfer student for the prestigious all-girls school, "Amamiya Academy". Filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety for her dream student life in Tokyo, Meiko makes the move to the big city.

However, what was actually waiting for her was the manga cafe "Hedgehog"! Now, she must live and work as part of a "service activity" in this manga cafe that doubles as a student dormitory, alongside a group of highly eccentric residents.

And so, Meiko's slightly mysterious life in a one-tatami-mat manga cafe begins!
