Fullmetal Alchemist Creator Hiromu Arakawa’s Essay Manga Hyakusho Kizoku Gets Season 4 Anime
Hyakusho Kizoku Season 4 has officially been announced, marking the continuation of the anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s popular farming essay manga.

Season 4 of Hyakusho Kizoku Officially in Production
The fourth season of the TV anime Hyakusho Kizoku is now in production. The series is based on the widely loved essay manga currently serialized in the bimonthly magazine WINGS published by Shinshokan, which has surpassed 5.2 million copies in circulation.
The story reflects the real life experiences of manga creator Hiromu Arakawa, depicting the seven years she spent working in agriculture in Hokkaido before becoming a professional manga artist.

Broadcast History and Upcoming Plans
The anime adaptation began with its first season airing in July 2023, followed by the second season in October 2024 and the third season in October 2025, all broadcast on TOKYO MX. The newly announced fourth season is also scheduled for broadcast, continuing the series’ momentum.

In addition to the anime news, a unique merchandise item has been revealed. Hiromu Arakawa herself has been turned into a soft vinyl figure. The figure stands approximately 20 centimeters tall and comes in two variations, featuring a smiling expression and a whistling expression.
Pre orders for the figure are open until May 13, with a planned release in August.
