Scum of the Brave Episode 15 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Confrontation with Lord Cracking Sacred Map

The story and preview images for Episode 15 of the TV anime Scum of the Brave (JP: 勇者のクズ) have been revealed. This episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, April 26 at 12:55 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 15 Story

Lord Venus Veil, known as the “Shattered Sacred Map,” launches an overwhelming assault on the stronghold of Lord Cracking Sacred Map. A mixed unit of heroes and mercenaries storms the castle, using their respective abilities to search for Lord Cracking Sacred Map.

Amid the chaotic battlefield, Yashiro and his disciples push through the fighting and arrive at a suspicious server room. What they discover there remains to be seen. Soon after, Yashiro and his group finally encounter Lord Cracking Sacred Map and initiate battle, but they are quickly driven into a disadvantage by his Ether perception abilities.

Introduction

“Being a hero is a job for the lowest kind of scum.”

In the mid-21st century, Tokyo’s criminal underworld is ruled by mafias who have become “Demon Kings” through ether (magical power) enhancement surgery. The bounty hunters who take down these Demon Kings are known as “heroes.”

Heroes enhance their ether abilities with a drug called E3 in order to stand against the Demon Kings. Killing is legalized for them, turning the role of a hero into a profession that is, quite literally, one of murder.

Amid this, a self-proclaimed “disciple” suddenly shows up at the door of Yashiro, a freelance hero known as the “Grim Reaper.” She is Jōgamine, a high school girl training to become a hero. Though reluctant, Yashiro takes her in, only to find himself dragged into a series of thoroughly rotten incidents.
