Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 3 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Subaru’s Group Gets Separated

The story and preview images for Episode 3 of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (JP: Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) Season 4 (Episode 69 overall) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 PM (JST) in Japan, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 69 Story

Subaru is woken up by Ram after being transported beneath the dunes due to a spatial distortion caused by Yin Magic.

While he manages to reunite with Scarfdona and Patrasche, he finds himself separated from Emilia, Rem, Beatrice, and the others. Through the twins' synesthesia, Subaru is able to confirm that Rem is alive despite her being unable to move, but they cannot find an exit nearby.

To reunite with the rest of the group, Subaru and his companions begin to trek through the underground passage, where there is no wind, the temperature is low, and only the sound of their footsteps on the sand echoes.
