Haibara's Teenage New Game+ Episode 4 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Natsuki Calls Tatsuya to the Rooftop to Face Him Once More

The story and preview images for Episode 4 of the TV anime Haibara's Teenage New Game+ (JP: 灰原くんの強くて青春ニューゲーム) have been revealed. This episode will air on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:28 AM (JST) on Japanese broadcasting stations, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 4 Story

The day after their awkward parting at the karaoke bar, Natsuki and Tatsuya find themselves in a tense atmosphere when they encounter each other at school. As if affected by the friction between the two, a sense of distance begins to grow within the entire group. Natsuki feels discouraged as his vibrant, rainbow colored high school life quickly fades back into a dull gray. It is during this time that his childhood friend, Miori Motomiya, pays him a visit. The following day, Natsuki resolves to face Tatsuya once again and calls him up to the rooftop.

Natsuki Haibara is a young man on the verge of entering the workforce. Ever since he failed his "high school debut," he has lived through a gray and dreary adolescence. One day, he suddenly time-leaps from his fourth year of college back to the moment just before his high school entrance ceremony!

Having gained the chance to redo a high school life that was filled with nothing but regret, Natsuki launches his "Rainbow-Colored Youth Plan" to rewrite his gray past into something vibrant! Using his past experiences to his advantage, he manages to join a group of the school's most popular "top-tier" students and gets closer to the beautiful girl he once loved from afar.

However, the rainbow-colored youth he yearned for isn't just fun and games... Can Natsuki truly reclaim the youth of his dreams?!
