Akane-banashi Episode 2 Story & Preview Cuts Released: A High School Student Takes the Stage

The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime Akane-banashi (JP: あかね噺) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, April 11 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 2 Story

Guriko Arakawa , a novice "Futatsume" (second-rank) storyteller, hears rumors that his master, Shiguma Arakawa, is secretly meeting with a young woman and begins an investigation. He soon discovers Akane, now a high school student, receiving training from Shiguma at a karaoke box. During this time, Shiguma receives a sudden request for a performer to fill a slot at a "Rakugo Cafe" variety show. Instead of choosing the experienced Guriko, Shiguma appoints Akane for the performance.
