Naruto Creator Masashi Kishimoto Reveals New Original Illustration Featuring Naruto and Kurama for Konoha Theme Park Opening

To commemorate the opening of the Naruto themed area Naruto Konoha Land at Parc Spirou Provence in southern France, a newly drawn shikishi illustration by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto has been revealed.

The official X account for the series introduced the artwork, stating that it is a must see piece featuring Naruto and Kurama.

The theme park features a large scale 1.5 hectare area that faithfully recreates the Hidden Leaf Village where Naruto and his friends live. Visitors can enjoy exclusive attractions and immersive spots available only at this location.

Among the attractions is the roller coaster Kyubi Unchained, which stretches over one kilometer, reaches speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour, includes a 30 meter drop, and even features backward motion. Another highlight is Rasengan Chakra Rotation, where guests can experience the thrill of chakra training through four rotating arms and 32 gondolas.

The park also includes detailed recreations of iconic locations such as the Konoha Gate, the Chunin Exams venue, the Hokage Rock and Hokage Office, Team Kakashi’s training logs, and Ichiraku Ramen and the dango shop. Additionally, ten life sized character statues are on display throughout the area.
