Oshi no Ko Anime Final Season Confirmed with Season 4 Announcement and Teaser Video Release

The Oshi no Ko anime has officially announced its Final Season as Season 4, alongside the release of a teaser video and cast comments.

Oshi no Ko tells a story that explores both the brilliance and darkness of the entertainment industry. The protagonist, Goro, is an obstetrician who meets his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. However, after a certain incident, he dies and is reincarnated as Aqua, Ai’s child. From that point on, he begins to walk the same path in the entertainment world as her.

The original manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024 and has surpassed 25 million copies in circulation. It also won first place in the Comics category at the Next Manga Awards 2021. The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2023 and gained widespread attention, especially with the opening theme “Idol” by YOASOBI. The second season followed from July to October 2024, and the series has also been adapted into a live action drama and film.
