Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 Premieres in July with New Cast
It has been announced that Season 3 of the TV anime Grand Blue Dreaming will premiere this July on TOKYO MX, BS11, and MBS. Additional cast members were also revealed. Sayaka Ohara will voice Sayaka Kotegawa, Asami Seto will play Chief, and Aya Susaki will voice Maki.

Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3
In Season 3, Iori is asked by Nanaka to travel to Palau to help out, as the diving shop “Dolphin” has opened a branch there but is short on staff. However, he recalls that Kōhei once said he did not want to go overseas because he would not be able to watch anime in real time.
The teaser visual shows Iori Kitahara, Chisa Kotegawa, and Kōhei Imamura arriving on a tropical island. The image conveys an exciting sense of anticipation for what will unfold in Palau. It also features the appearance of a mysterious glamorous woman.
The story follows Iori Kitahara, who moves to a seaside town to start college and begins living at “Grand Blue,” a diving shop run by his uncle. Expecting a dream campus life surrounded by the ocean and friends, he instead finds himself in a chaotic all-male diving club filled with nonstop drinking parties. Along with his college friend Kōhei Imamura, Iori dives into a series of wild and often ridiculous experiences.
Based on the manga serialized in good! Afternoon (Kodansha), the series has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation. It was adapted into a TV anime in 2018, followed by a live-action film in 2020 and a stage play adaptation.
Cast Comments

Sayaka Ohara (as Sayaka Kotegawa)
■Sayaka Ohara (Sayaka Kotegawa)
Hello, I’m Sayaka Ohara, and I will be voicing Sayaka Kotegawa. Since we share the same name, I felt a strong connection to the role from the start. As this is the third season, the atmosphere among the cast felt very close and warm, almost like a family, which made it a joy to record in such a relaxed environment. I was also surprised to see the studio lobby table completely filled with alcohol. It really made me realize how bold and open this series is. Long live youth!

Asami Seto (Chief)
■ Asami Seto (Chief)
I’m Asami Seto, and I play Chief. I love diving, so I was very happy to join the world of Grand Blue. Watching the regular cast perform up close, with their fast-paced exchanges, comedic timing, and ad-libs, was truly impressive. It was hard to hold back laughter, and I have never laughed this much during a recording session before. In addition to the signature over-the-top comedy, there are also heartwarming romantic moments set against the beautiful sea of Palau. Please look forward to the broadcast!

Aya Susaki (Maki)
■ Aya Susaki (Maki)
I’m Aya Susaki, and I play Maki. I’m so glad I have a diving license. I heard that was one of the reasons I was cast. Maki is energetic, cheerful, and enjoys a bit of cheeky humor, which made her very fun to play. During recording, I had to constantly hold back laughter. The lobby was always lined with cans of alcohol, and we were told to take as many as we liked, so I happily brought some home each time. I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished footage. Please enjoy the broadcast!
