The story and preview images for Episode 12 of the TV anime Champignon Witch (JP: シャンピニオンの魔女) have been revealed. This episode is scheduled to air on Friday, March 20 at 1:58 AM (JST). This episode will later be made available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 12 Story

As a safe haven, Luna and the others are taken to the mansion of the Bird Mage.

There, the reason why Henri—despite carrying the blood of a White Mage—continues to assist Black Mages is finally revealed. Learning of Henri’s true feelings deeply shakes Luna, while Lize witnesses firsthand the unbreakable bond between the two.

Meanwhile, Gyus asks Luna to purify the poison that has accumulated in his body. After successfully completing the purification and confirming that Luna’s powers have stabilized, Gyus turns to Lize with a serious expression and declares:

“This is the final interview that will determine whether you pass the test…”

Introduction

Deep within the black forest, in a quiet house of poisonous mushrooms, lived a lone witch named Luna. Wherever she touched or walked, poisonous mushrooms often grew, and the breath she exhaled and even her skin were tainted with poison.

The townspeople called her the “Champignon Witch.” Feared as a black witch, not a single person dared to approach her.

Even so, Luna heads to town again today to sell her medicine. Her remedies are hugely popular as miracle cures, and everyone who obtains them speaks words of gratitude in unison. Yet no one knows who actually makes the medicine.

Still, Luna continues to brew her medicines day after day.

Then one day, a dreamlike encounter comes to lonely Luna, who has never known the warmth of another person……
