When Ryomen Sukuna fully incarnated and revived, the battle known as the Shinjuku Showdown began.

During this conflict, Takaba was recommended by Angel and sent as an operative to confront Kenjaku.

Takaba eventually encountered Kenjaku at the Gosho Lake Barrier in Iwate Prefecture, where Kenjaku had begun eliminating Culling Game players. As soon as the two met, Kenjaku targeted Takaba. However, Takaba's cursed technique activated unconsciously, triggering a chaotic and absurd life risking comedy battle between the two.

At first, Takaba's strange ability allowed him to overwhelm Kenjaku and throw him into confusion. However, Kenjaku carefully observed the technique while being affected by it.

Kenjaku realized that the ability could incorporate and reflect the imagination of the opponent as well. Using this property, he created a manzai comedy stage and intentionally took on the role of the straight man in the performance.

By fully participating in the comedic routine and generating a huge reaction together with Takaba, Kenjaku managed to satisfy Takaba emotionally. Once Takaba felt fulfilled by the successful performance, the cursed technique naturally came to an end, effectively neutralizing it.

Later, with the assistance of another individual, Kenjaku was ultimately defeated. As a result, Takaba emerged as the victor of this extraordinary confrontation.
