The story and preview images for Episode 9 of the TV anime Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table (JP: 死亡遊戯で飯を食う。, Shibou Yugi de Meshi wo Kuu) have been revealed. This episode will air on Wednesday, March 4 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 9 Story

Moegi attempts to take command of the rookie-filled “Stump” team.

However, facing off against the veteran-heavy “Usagi” group, her teammates fall one after another.

“The tutorial is over. From here on out, you think for yourselves.”

As Moegi struggles with her own inexperience, it is revealed that she too once had someone she revered as a mentor, a presence as ghostlike as Yuki.
