Umamusume Pretty Derby Adds Forever Young, Voiced by Rising Talent Shuri Miyumi

New information has been revealed for the hit multimedia franchise Umamusume Pretty Derby. It has been announced that Forever Young will appear as a new Umamusume character, with character voice provided by rising voice actress Shuri Miyumi.

Forever Young is an active Japanese racehorse that has achieved major results in international competitions, including the Breeders Cup Classic G1 and the Saudi Cup G1. The horse is owned by Susumu Fujita of CyberAgent. The Umamusume project is developed by Cygames, a game company within the CyberAgent Group.

As the game originally launched on February 24, 2021, the same birthday as Forever Young, fans online had long speculated about the horse eventual inclusion in the franchise. Social media posts included comments such as, A horse born on the day Umamusume was released becoming a historic champion feels too blessed by the gods of horse racing, and A horse born on launch day and bought by President Fujita winning the Breeders Cup Classic sounds like fiction.
