Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun if Episode of Mafia Anime Announced for January 2027 Broadcast as Official Spinoff

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun will return with a brand new anime spinoff titled Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun if Episode of Mafia (JP:魔入りました！入間くん if Episode of 魔フィア), which has been officially announced to air on NHK General starting in January 2027.

This new anime is an official spinoff of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun and is set in an alternate world with a mafia themed setting. The story follows Iruma, a kind hearted boy living in a slum, whose life changes dramatically when he unexpectedly becomes the grandson of a mafia boss due to an unexpected turn of events. As Iruma faces repeated dangers and inner conflicts, he grows and matures by working together with his companions in this action comedy series.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is based on the manga of the same name currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. The original series follows Iruma Suzuki, a human boy who becomes the grandson of the great demon Sullivan and enrolls in Babyls Demon School, where Sullivan serves as the chairman. The manga has surpassed 19 million copies in circulation, and the fourth season of the television anime is scheduled to air on NHK Educational TV starting in April this year.

Thanks to everyone’s support, if Episode of Mafia is being adapted into an anime. I am already grateful just to be able to draw my favorite characters, but being able to see them move and speak on screen truly makes this a dream come true as a creator. This is another possible world derived from Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun. Please enjoy the differences, as well as the slightly dark yet gentle stories of these characters.
