The preview images for Episode 49 of the TV anime SPY×FAMILY have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, December 20 at 11:30 PM (JST) and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

The newly revealed preview cuts from Episode 49 include a scene in which Loid appears to be disguised as Yuri, as well as a striking shot of Yor casting a calm yet deadly gaze befitting her true identity as an assassin. Loid, on the other hand, is shown visibly shaken, hinting at rising tension between the two.

SPY×FAMILY follows Loid, a highly skilled spy who undertakes missions to create a better world. For a special mission, he adopts Anya, who secretly possesses telepathic abilities, and enters into a fake marriage with Yor, who secretly works as an assassin. Together, they form a temporary family to fulfill Loid’s mission, giving rise to a unique spy action comedy.

The original manga has been serialized on the Shonen Jump+ app since March 2019, with over 38 million copies in circulation. The first cour of the anime aired from April to June 2022, followed by the second cour from October to December of the same year. Season 2 aired from October to December 2023.
