The manga series ONE PIECE secured the top position in the Oricon Annual Book Ranking 2025 comic category, with Volume 111 selling 1.37 million copies during the reporting period. This marks the third consecutive year and the 15th time overall that the series has achieved annual No.1, setting a new all-time record for the most annual comic chart wins by a single series.

Volume 112, released on July 4, recorded 1.218 million copies and ranked 4th, while the latest Volume 113, released on November 4, sold 796 thousand copies to place 7th. This means all three ONE PIECE volumes released during the fiscal year entered the Top 10.

The series has furthermore achieved cumulative sales of over one million copies for every volume from Vol.1 to Vol.112. With 112 titles surpassing the one-million benchmark, ONE PIECE continues to extend its own record for the most million-selling volumes within a single series.

In second and third place were Jujutsu Kaisen Vol.30 and Vol.29, both by Gege Akutami. The manga concluded in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 44 (released September 30, 2024), followed by the simultaneous release of the comic volumes Jujutsu Kaisen 29 and the final volume Jujutsu Kaisen 30 in December of the same year.
Ranking fifth was My Hero Academia Vol.42, the final volume of Kohei Horikoshi’s long-running series, which reached its conclusion in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2024.

According to Oricon, the 2025 fiscal year spans from the chart week dated December 2, 2024 (reflecting data from November 18) through the week dated November 24, 2025.

The Oricon Book Ranking began on April 7, 2008.

The effective aggregation period for this year’s data is November 18, 2024 to November 16, 2025.
