The sports festival enters its second half. In Mari Asaka’s class, the student originally set to run the anchor leg of the relay, Ochi, twists his ankle. It turns out that some boys he had previously been involved with retaliated against him for distancing himself from their group. As a substitute, Tsunagu takes his place, receiving the baton from Yukihiro and Mari, and launches an incredible comeback from behind. Later, on the last day of the semester, an unexpected encounter awaits Mari.

One day, Tsunagu, a special-case beastman student, transfers into the class of Mari, a high school girl living in a town where humans and beastmen coexist.
