The Tamagotchi 30th anniversary collaboration with UNIQLO’s graphic T-shirt brand UT will launch nationwide on December 19. The lineup includes four Women’s UT shirts inspired by the iconic digital pet, as well as a UT-original Tamagotchi device modeled after the first-generation release.

This special collection features a total of five items. In addition to the four Women’s UT shirts, the lineup includes one UT-original Tamagotchi inspired by the first-generation device and package design from 1996. The T-shirts are designed using pixel art motifs from the original Tamagotchi, creating a nostalgic yet modern look.

A newly opened special website for the first-generation Tamagotchi also introduces an original UT mini-game. The game stars Mametchi, who jumps out from the Tamagotchi world wearing UT apparel. Players can enjoy collecting falling items and food as part of the mini-game storyline.

The UT Original Tamagotchi, priced at 2990 yen including tax, is a tribute model equipped with the English-language GEN1 program from the 1996 release, faithfully recreating the classic experience.

The Women’s Tamagotchi UT Oversized Fit shirts, priced at 1990 yen including tax, come in four designs. These include a front graphic featuring the first-generation Tamagotchi, as well as a design with embroidered Mametchi.
