Episode 8 Story

With school events finally settling down, Sae Iwata and her friends return to their club activities. While searching for a tennis ball that flew into the school building, Sakue ends up at the Shogi Club where Yota Ayukawa is practicing. The two casually begin a match, when Koki Kamishiro suddenly appears.

Although they are unable to walk home together that day, Sakue receives a message from Kamishiro that night, and the date for their first movie outing is set. Excited and full of anticipation, Sakue feels her heart race.

However, a chance encounter leads her to meet Kamishiro’s cousin, Subaru. When she hears about the kind of person Kamishiro admires, described as someone “brighter than the sun,” Sakue begins to fear that Subaru might be the one he truly had in mind.
