Denji and Reze Celebrate High School Entrance in New Bonus Card for “Chainsaw Man: The Movie - Reze Arc”

The upcoming film Chainsaw Man: The Movie - The Reze Arc, releasing on September 19, will feature a new theater bonus beginning November 15. Fans attending screenings will receive the fifth-entry gift: an “Instant Photo-Style Card” featuring Denji and Reze, illustrated by manga creator Tatsuki Fujimoto himself.

Previously, at the September premiere event, the reveal of “Reze in her school uniform” created major buzz among fans. This new card takes the concept further, depicting Denji and Reze with their arms around each other on what looks like their high school entrance day — a scene from an “alternate worldline” where the two could have shared an ordinary student life together.

Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a young devil hunter living with his pet devil Pochita, as he struggles to repay his late father’s debt. After merging with Pochita, Denji is reborn as Chainsaw Man, a devil-human hybrid who hunts devils in a violent and emotional dark action series.

Based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since December 2018, the series has sold over 30 million copies and was named the No.1 title in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2021 (Men’s Edition). The first part, “Public Safety Arc,” concluded in December 2020, with the second part now running on Shonen Jump+. An acclaimed TV anime aired in 2022, and a stage adaptation followed soon after.

The upcoming movie directly continues from the TV anime finale, focusing on Denji’s fateful encounter with Reze (a girl whose charm hides a dangerous secret) and the unpredictable path that follows.
