Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter THE LAST ATTACK Returns to Theaters in Japan in January 2026 with Dolby Cinema Premiere
The anime film Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter THE LAST ATTACK, originally released on November 8, 2024, will return to theaters across Japan starting January 16, 2026. Prior to the nationwide rerelease, the film will premiere in Dolby Cinema on January 9 — marking the first Dolby Cinema screening in the Attack on Titan series.

The Dolby Cinema version, supervised by director Yuichiro Hayashi and sound director Masafumi Mima, features a newly produced 4K screening master. Through 4K HDR remastering and Dolby Atmos sound, audiences will experience unprecedented visual sharpness and immersive sound design. Following the Dolby release, the standard version will also be shown in theaters nationwide.

Based on the manga by Hajime Isayama, serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021, Attack on Titan has surpassed 140 million copies in circulation worldwide. The TV anime began airing in 2013, culminating with Attack on Titan: The Final Season – The Final Chapter (Part 2) in November 2023.
