Several months have passed since Satsuki Tachibana suddenly disappeared. On Valentine's Day, Naoto Watari receives a “friend chocolate (Tomo Choco)” from Yukari Ishihara. When he confronts Shigenobu Tokui, who claimed he started dating Satsuki, Tokui admits it was a lie—they had planned it together to stop Naoto from chasing after her. This confirmation crushes Naoto; he feels utterly rejected and believes he may never see Satsuki again. Tokui then suggests that maybe getting back together with Yukari is a valid option. During their school trip, Naoto realizes he and Yukari can now talk more openly than before, but…

Introduction
