On November 3, celebrated as Godzilla Day, Toho hosted the Godzilla Fest 2025 at Tokyo Dome City Hall (TDC Hall), where it was revealed that the long-rumored new Godzilla film directed, written, and produced with VFX supervision by Takashi Yamazaki will be titled “Godzilla -0.0” (Godzilla Minus Zero).

Along with the announcement, a new title logo was unveiled—boldly rendered in rough brush strokes. Much like its predecessor “Godzilla -1.0”, which took the world by storm, this new logo was handwritten by Yamazaki himself.

No details regarding the release date or storyline have been revealed, leaving fans with only the mysterious title. What could “Minus Zero” signify? The meaning remains shrouded in mystery, adding to the anticipation surrounding the next chapter in the Godzilla legacy.
