The live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE will return for Season 2, titled “INTO THE GRANDLINE”, premiering exclusively on Netflix worldwide on March 10, 2026.

Season 2 will follow the Straw Hat Pirates on their grand adventure through the Grand Line, featuring iconic arcs such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island, as they journey toward the Kingdom of Alabasta. The new season will also introduce Tony Tony Chopper for the first time in the live-action series.

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 22, 1997, ONE PIECE tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who gains the ability to stretch like rubber after eating the Gum-Gum Fruit, one of the mystical Devil Fruits. Forming the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy sets sail in search of the One Piece, the ultimate treasure left behind by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

The manga has sold over 510 million copies worldwide, while the anime adaptation has been airing since 1999. The 2022 anime film ONE PIECE FILM RED became a social phenomenon, grossing 20.34 billion yen in Japan alone. The live-action adaptation, first released on Netflix in 2023, received critical acclaim for its faithful worldbuilding and dynamic storytelling.
