On October 23, Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions released the Japanese edition of Ultraman × Avengers, the fourth and final installment in the collaborative comic series between Tsuburaya Productions and Marvel Entertainment.

Following The Rise of Ultraman, The Trials of Ultraman (both published by Village Books), and The Mystery of Ultraseven, this latest entry marks the culmination of the crossover saga that reimagined stories from the early Ultraman series.

Since its initial announcement, the project has drawn immense attention from both tokusatsu and comic book fans. The Japanese release of The Rise of Ultraman in August 2021 became such a sensation that a reprint was immediately ordered upon release.

In Ultraman × Avengers, Marvel’s most iconic superhero team (the Avengers) finally joins forces with the Ultra Guard, led by Shin Hayata. Together with Spider-Man, Iron Man, and other beloved Marvel heroes, they unite to face cosmic threats endangering Earth.

How will Ultraman and the Avengers confront the monstrous and extraterrestrial forces approaching from space? This grand crossover between Japanese and American heroes delivers a fitting finale to the series.
