The series, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" since April 2020, follows the post-adventures of a group of heroes who defeated the Demon Lord. It tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who embarks on new adventures with new companions in a world without a hero. Praised for its unique timeline post-Demon Lord defeat, the series captures hearts with its impactful drama, battles, and humor, winning the "Manga Taisho 2021" and surpassing 20 million copies in circulation. The anime aired from September 2023 to March 2024.
