The TV anime Witch Watch will return with a second season. Along with the announcement, a commemorative visual has been released, depicting a lively classroom scene where “Congratulations!! Season 2 Confirmed!” is written on the blackboard. At the center stand Nico and Morihito, surrounded by Kanshi, Keigo, and Miharu Kiryu smiling brightly with their arms around each other. The illustration also features Nemu, Kara, Kuku, teacher Makuwa, student council president Kiyomiya gathered together in celebration.

The story follows Nico Wakatsuki, a young witch-in-training, who starts living with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi—a high school student with the power of an ogre. While Nico’s heart flutters at their reunion, Morihito bears the duty of protecting her as a familiar, following a prophecy foretelling calamity. Between Nico’s unpredictable magic and the pair’s coming-of-age cohabitation, a series of mysterious and comical days unfolds in this magical comedy.

Created by Kenta Shinohara, author of SKET DANCE and Astra Lost in Space, the original manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and has surpassed a total of 4 million copies in circulation. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to October 2025.
