On the 30th, voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi, known for his roles as Usopp in the popular anime 'ONE PIECE' and Shinichi Kudo in 'Detective Conan,' updated his X account to announce his hospitalization.
On X, he explained, "I've been hospitalized."
He further shared, "I have surgery tomorrow, and I'll have to skip meals for a day after that. It's like Garizo missing his snacks."
The reason for his hospitalization is due to overtraining. "Actually, I started my hospital stay today. I overdid it with weight training, so I'm having shoulder surgery. I'll come back with a cyborg shoulder," he revealed.
Yamaguchi is also known for his roles as Ranma Saotome in 'Ranma 1/2,' Inuyasha in 'Inuyasha,' Kaito Kid in 'Detective Conan,' Taro Raimon in 'Eyeshield 21,' and L in 'DEATH NOTE,' among others.
