Various projects, including a live-action film adaptation, are also underway.
The newly unveiled teaser video opens with a man submerged underwater who suddenly notices something and swims toward it. Text then appears announcing the anime film project. The scene shifts to a rain-soaked battlefield where a beast is rampaging, confronted by a man attempting to capture it. The same mysterious man from the opening reappears, tenderly stroking the beast before striking the would-be captor, igniting a fierce hand-to-hand battle. Their identities and relationship remain shrouded in mystery, but the footage hints at an epic narrative to come.
