From Manga to Anime to Film

The Dangers in My Heart, serialized in Manga Cross (Akita Shoten), follows the quirky romance of introverted boy Kyotaro Ichikawa and naturally charming beauty Anna Yamada. The manga ranked for two consecutive years in This Manga is Amazing! (Male Edition), won first place in the Next Manga Awards 2020 Web Manga Division, and has surpassed 6.5 million copies in circulation. Its TV anime aired Season 1 in April 2023 and Season 2 in January 2024. The upcoming film will feature a re-edited version of the anime with additional new scenes, including Kyotaro’s sister Kana’s live performance and a long-awaited special moment between Ichikawa and Yamada.
