The story and preview images for Episode 8 of the anime Watari-kun's ****** Is About to Collapse (JP: 渡くんの××が崩壊寸前, Watari-kun no xx ga Hokaisunzen) have been released. The episode is set to air on Saturday, August 23 at 1:00 AM (JST).

Episode 8 Story

At a part-time job interview, Naoto unexpectedly reunites with Makina Umezawa, a former junior from his middle school days and the ace of the track team.

When Makina learns that Naoto doesn’t own a smartphone, she forcefully drags him out to buy one. However, the first person Naoto calls after getting his phone is Yukari Ishihara.

Though Makina had gone on to attend a prestigious all-girls high school in Tokyo and join their track team, she has recently fallen into a slump and started skipping practice.

Seeing Naoto seemingly content with his life, Makina begins to plot—to break him up with his girlfriend and turn him into her personal plaything out of boredom.

Introduction
