Kadowaki, a journalist known for chasing scandals, is tailing a former actress involved in an affair with his junior colleague Nakata when they witness a murder scene. Seeing the culprit flee, Kadowaki and Nakata follow the getaway car. Sensing a chance for a major scoop, Kadowaki grows excited. The car eventually enters a vast estate not marked on any map. As Kadowaki watches armed men calmly greet the suspect, he recalls a rumor Nakata once mentioned—about a hotel exclusively for professional killers, known as Hotel Inhumans.

Introduction
