Kirby × Hankyu Railway Collab Begins Aug 22: Themed Train, Stamp Rally, BGM & More Announced

Hankyu Corporation is launching a large-scale collaboration with the Kirby video game series starting August 22, 2025. The project includes a specially wrapped “Kirby Train,” themed background music at stations, a stamp rally event, limited-edition merchandise, and other attractions along the Hankyu Railway and Nose Electric Railway lines. The campaign will run until March 17, 2026, offering fans various interactive experiences across the region.

All Aboard the “Kirby Train” on Three Major Hankyu Lines

Three Kirby-themed trains will operate on the Kobe, Takarazuka, and Kyoto Lines, each featuring original wrap designs and headmarks inspired by local scenery. The trains will also showcase interior decorations such as posters and stickers, and include plush versions of Kirby and Waddle Dee “riding along” in the driver’s cabin. The trains will run from August 22, 2025, through March 17, 2026, on an irregular schedule.

Stamp Rally and One-Day Passes Offer Fun Across the Hankyu Line

A free stamp rally will be held from September 2 to November 24, 2025. Participants can collect stamps at designated spots and receive exclusive Kirby × Hankyu rubber magnets. A limited-edition acrylic clock will be awarded to 100 winners via lottery. Special one-day passes covering all Hankyu and Hankyu Bus lines, as well as the Nose Electric Railway, will also be available during this period.

First-Ever Kirby BGM and Capsule Toys in Stations

For the first time in a Hankyu collaboration, Kirby music—arranged with train-themed motifs—will play at selected stations and facilities. In addition, capsule toys featuring Kirby and friends playing train will launch in mid-September at vending machines in and around major Hankyu stations.

Kirby-Themed Goods and Food Now On Sale

Collaboration merchandise featuring original Kirby designs, such as plush toys, keychains, and bags, will be available at select retail stores and online. Limited-time food and drink items, as well as novelty giveaways, will also be offered at various Hankyu group stores and station kiosks starting in September.

Expanded Campaigns Across Group Companies

The collaboration extends beyond Hankyu Railway. Kirby-themed buses will run on select Hankyu Bus routes, and Nose Electric Railway will feature decorated trains and photo spots. Additional campaigns and themed decorations will appear at Hankyu Sanbangai, NU Chayamachi, and other commercial areas, offering a wide range of experiences for visitors.
