Episode 27 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, August 10, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 27 Story

With a flood of fan club membership applications, the Idol Pretty Cure Zukyoon Kiss office is busy sending out membership cards. Amid the rush, someone suggests,
Wouldn’t it be great if people felt sparkling and excited after watching us?” Inspired, they decide to post videos of Idol Pretty Cure and Zukyoon Kiss on the streaming site CureTube.

Uta Sakura and her friends quickly film new videos and upload them one after another. But during a summer school day, a classmate asks her, “Do you know the Idol Pretty Cures?” — because Uta’s face had accidentally appeared in a CureTube video. To keep her identity hidden, she plays it off as a coincidence.

Later that afternoon, Uta finds something in her shoe locker — a letter addressed to “Miss Uta Sakura.”

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
